Cygnus Controls built a web based Cimplicity project allowing remote monitoring and control of their dynamic HVAC and utilities systems integrated into their manufacturing facility located in Hillsoboro, Oregon.
An on going project automating the manufacturing process of various automotive components. Scope covers everything from PLC and HMI programming, to robotic controls, machine vision and historical data collection.
This project included a complete design/build of the various processes required to build a solar module from raw ingot to a roof-ready panel. PLC programming executed using Proficy Machine Edition with the HMI developed using Cimplicity. Systems included life and safety, gas detection, chemical storage and transport, process byproduct reclamation and HVAC controls.
